Also, just a quick update on the poetry slam scene. I am going to freaking cry. I am the ONLY one who did not get to the second round. But that is the risk I took. Next month, though... I am going to blow them away. I will be performing, not a poem, but a short essay I wrote called "a sign of strength". Hurrah.
